Fosimo is a desktop client that lets you perform a few basic actions with your Facebook account, straight from your desktop.
Facebook has become a means by which to keep in touch with friends and family, sometimes even moreso than with email or by phone. It makes sense then that a lot of people want to find a way to keep up to date with their Facebook news feed as often as possible.
Fosimo is a program that runs from your desktop and updates you on your friend's statuses with convenient little pop-up notifications. You can also update your status with relative ease through the app.
Unfortunately, that's where Fosimo's functionality ends. While the app gives you the option to view your own profile, read your wall, and view photos, clicking on these links in Fosimo will initiate your default browser to launch. It doesn't seem like you can browse such things in-app. You also can't chat with friends, post link or videos, or really interact with your Facebook friends in any real way. Apps like Facebook for Pokki let you do a lot more from your desktop than Fosimo.
For a basic way to keep up to date with friend's statuses on Facebook and to set your own, Fosimo gets the job done but doesn't bring anything extra to the table.
